Don't Mess With Him...

"Earlier this month, a man in Bentonville, Arkansas, struggled with a deer for nearly 40 minutes after it crashed into his daughter's bedroom, ultimately killing it with his bare hands." *Blinks* That come from the story here.
Holy...I mean...bare hands! I wish I could take a full-grown deer down with my bare hands.

I Weep For My Generation

To think it has come to this
That not only are we cutting out much of what makes these great peices of literature great, but also completely massacuring our native tongue. Not that most modern young adults care. We are a generation bound to gaming and computers. I'm sure some think this is no big deal. I disagree. As I said, doing this strips these works of what makes them unique. You are now reading an interpretation of the work, and what looks to be a bland one at that.
Now, I know there are efforts to turn many great and classic works of literature into fully electronic format for storage. I have no problem with this. I in fact applaud the efforts. But this is pointless. If young ones don't want to sit down to read the whole thing, why bother with this? They obviously won't have true appreciation for it, and they certainly won't be enriched in any way, so why?
(Just because I'm a computer major, doesn't mean I can't mourn great travesties to the English language.)

I Thought It Was November....

That's what I keep thinking to myself.
This (originally a link to a map with the snow over KC) tops it.
I now offically hate Texas weather.
*Weeps*
*Mourns*

Mankind

You know, just when maybe, just maybe, you get the idea that humanity isn't going completely to pot, some faceless bastards somewhere out there prove you wrong. Thus is proven the depths of Man's Inhumanity to Man. I just...I can't even really wrap my head around this. They were just children. CHILDREN DAMMIT!!! How can..How?!? Why?
While we sit here in our comfortable American homes, having petty arguments over trifles, thinking ourselves so wise, other Christians the world over are dying. Every day. Men. Women. Children. I can barely comprehend it some days. My very heart cries out for justice. But it won't come. Our country can do nothing, and Indonesia doesn't care. Justice will not come until Judgement. Why can we not invest in some kind of protection for these people? Are there not private security firms in this and other countries? Couldn't some of them be hired or something? Meanwhile, here in America, our "celebrities" worry about their latest clothing item that cost thousands, and donate a few thousand to a charity once a year to show they "care", while children the world over die. Why? Why...
"The sword of justice has no scabbard." - Antione De Riveral
We could only wish...
