| Displaced Southerner You are 73% true Southern! |
You're pretty Southern, but something is keeping you from being a true Southern Belle or Gentleman. Maybe you've moved, or maybe your parents were Yankees and brought you up without ever taking you fishing or hunting or to Memaw's for chicken and black-eyed peas. You know your Southern facts and culture, but that literature still escapes you. And when you order tea at a restaurant, you expect it to come "unsweet." Yikes. Next time you have the chance, visit a classic Southern downtown area and spend an afternoon just soaking it in... Montgomery, Birmingham, Jackson, Natchez, Memphis, Charleston, Atlanta, or even New Orleans! |

Must....Not.....Give....In....
Yeah. I could use some prayer help right now. I did the figures. I need a 90 on one of my finals to get just a C in the class, and I need that. Another class, as long as I don't completely blow the final, I've got a C (no way to get higher). If I can manage A's in my other 3 classes, I can get a 3.2 for this semester, and keep a 3.4 cumulative, which is what I need to keep my scholarship, which I really need. So please keep me in mind in prayers if you could.
In lighter news, I've finally gotten my film glory. Just follow this link, and select topic "Customers", subtopic "All", and scroll down until you find the video named "LeTourneau University". Yours Truly makes a couple of short appearances about mid-way through. Yehaw....

Hollow Justice?
That's what it feels like to me when you come across a case like this. I mean, sure, we can convict the criminal, maybe even keep them in prison for a while. But what will we have done, other than protect more innocents? The girl won't come back. I hate that we can't stop monsters like this sooner. I hate it. It burns me up on the inside. I want to do something, but....I can't. There's nothing I can do here. And as I feel led more towards a life in the world of business and computers, I doubt there will ever be much I can do. *Sighs* But I wish I could....oh God, how I wish I could....

Cloth Expression
Fleetman posted on this, and I felt compelled to do the same.
What the heck is up? I mean, seriously, this definitely is against free speech. And taking it down outside? This isn't a problem with the flag, it's a problem with children. And I don't care what age they are physically, they're children. Especially the ones who robbed that poor businessman of his flag. Can we say prosecuted fully?...Except, they won't be caught, I'm sure. That's assuming they're even legal citizens.
This is why I dislike illegal immigration so much. It's a big factor in stuff like this.
Seriously. If you move to this country, get used to having the flag around. It's kind of our symbol here. Like it or not.
